Welcome!

An individual involved in Mathematics and Data Science.

Hello there!

I'm Baran Yalçın. I am a data scientist with a background in mathematics and computer programming. While I've centered my career around data science, I have also held a keen interest in artistic fields such as theater, short film, and music. I am proficient in playing the piano and guitar, which fuels my desire to bridge the gap between art and technology.
My passion for data science, coupled with my skills in mathematics and programming, enables me to develop data-driven solutions. I have experience working with powerful Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Seaborn, Matplotlib and Scikit-learn. Additionally, I am knowledgeable in tools like Excel, SQL for data analysis and management, and have proficiency in version control using Git.
I am deeply intrigued by artificial intelligence techniques within the realm of data science and continuously strive to enhance my knowledge in this area. Staying up-to-date with advancements in the field and applying data-driven solutions to real-world problems excites me. Throughout my career, I have developed projects in the fields of data science and artificial intelligence, exploring how these projects can benefit various sectors. My aim is to expand my experience in data analytics and AI, offering innovative solutions to challenges faced by society and industries.
Additionally, I intend to communicate my experiences in the future. Keep an eye out for updates!

Projects

Stock Price Predictor

This project aims to take the current situation of company stock prices since the day they were founded, create a prediction model and make predictions for the future.

Stroke Prediction

According to the World Health Organization (WHO) stroke is the 2nd leading cause of death globally, responsible for approximately 11% of total deaths. This dataset is used to predict whether a patient is likely to get stroke based on the input parameters like gender, age, various diseases, and smoking status. Each row in the data provides relavant information about the patient.

Solving the Outliers Problem

An outlier represents a data point that significantly deviates from the average value within a statistical group. These anomalies can exist as exceptions that fall far outside the typical range of values in individual samples or entire populations. In a broader context, an outlier refers to an individual that notably differs from the usual pattern in some specific aspect.

Rule Based Customer Segmentation

This project categorizes customers into distinct groups using specific criteria and rules. This segmentation helps in creating tailored marketing strategies that address the unique needs and preferences of different customer segments. By analyzing customer data, it aims to optimize approaches and enhance customer satisfaction."
